After 23 years which for his fans was a forever of a long time, the Cuban musician finally will to land to perform on the Costa Rican land on April 12th<\/sup>, 2013. The effort put in by Ariel Rivas Entertainment and Evenpro to make this dream come true for the people is going to materialize at Estadio Ricardo Saprissa in San Jose, Costa Rica.<\/p>\n

Silvio now 66 was born in a town south of Havana, in a poor farmer\u2019s family. His inclination to music stemmed from his mother, who was fond of singing. He started to play piano, which was a mere stop and go interest until he was 16 when he served in military and picked his guitar. During the Cuban Revolution he emerged as an incredible advocate for his music genre \u201cNueva Trova Cubana\u201d and then onwards till now he is known as a house of musician being a poet, composer and an amazing guitarist. To date Silvio has composed over 500 songs and has participated in several music documentaries as Testimony, Man Maisinicu South of Maniadero and The New School.<\/p>\n

\"silvio<\/a><\/p>\n

This time round Silvio is focusing on his latest album \u201cSecond Date\u201d for the show and he aims to deliver the audience the real essence of music, the music for the ears, to feel with heart and mind and not just to see. Discussing about Rodriguez, Evenpro CEO, Andres Guanipa stated that “he is more concerned with the music than with aesthetic aspects.” Rodriguez will be teaming up with a crew of 25 for the concert, as well as 8 well known musicians to play with him at the show. The clarinetist and flutist Niurka Gonz\u00e1lez, drummer Oliver Vald\u00e9s and Trio Trovarroco will be among them to name a few.<\/p>\n

Undoubtedly, the return of the prodigy to Costa Rica after decades will be cherished among his fans and followers and once again his music will succeed in winning the hearts of all.<\/p>\n

Tickets will be available from February 4th<\/sup>, 2013.<\/p>\n
