COYU at Club Vertigo

COYU, the Barcelona-ion DJ, producer and owner of record label of Suara, confirms his arrival at Costa Rica on March 2, 2013. The news has spread like fire among the electronic music lovers of Costa Rica, and the crowd is all ready to line up outside Club Vertigo for a guaranteed night of great music and beats to groove until the sunrise.

Inspired by his maternal heritage of Brazilian tribal music, COYU who was formerly known to be Iván Ramos Salinas found his passion in techno and remixing music. He came up with his first record label Atypical Farm but that wasn’t enough. The urge to make his dream and dreams of others like him even bigger and better, made him take off with his label Suara in July 2008. It has now talented and hot names like Edu Imbernon, Uner, Dosem, CarloLio, Gary Beck, Hermanez, and Wehbba under his umbrella.

 Now that the club scene has made itself to be the highlight of nightlife all over the world, it’s no looking back for COYU and Suara. The artist has stunned time and again by his releases with the biggest labels in the industry; Diynamic Music, Great Music, Saved, 2020 Vision, Trapez, Cr2, Get Physical Music, Rebirth, Noir Music or Tronic to name some.

When COYU remixes music, he keeps the original alive underneath and films the tunes with his epic style and creativity which gives new life to the songs. His remixes to FatBoy Slim’s track ‘Right here Right now’ and ‘Muzik Xpress’ by X-Press 2 has totally took the electronic music scene by storm. His unambiguous success is witnessed on chief sites like Beatport and Resident Advisor where his label Suara, has dominated the top rank time and again.

COYU with his remarkable assortment of success has been grabbing nominations and various national and international awards from all over. He continues to make his fans dance to his creations in more than 30 countries regularly. He was one of the key artists and guests chosen by Space Ibiza in summers of 2010 and 2011.
